- The album art (front cover) is of a British bulldog, represents South london, England, where the duo are from, and where dubstep originated.
- The yellow, bold font contrasts from the black and white background, to make it eye catching. This adds the feeling of caution.
- Bulldogs are seen as 'hard' dogs, which connotes the genre is a 'hard' and 'rough' genre. As it's dubstep which makes audience's go crazy.
- The tracklist/ back cover also has the colour theme of black and yellow. To make it easy to read, and that the audience should handle with care.
- On the side, 'No more idols' and 'chase and status' are in yellow, which contrasts against the black, so from the side of the CD cover, it is still eye catching.
- The CD also has the black and yellow colour theme

- The inside image is of the duo, Chase and Status to show what they look like. They placed it where the CD will be placed.
Example- Playing in the shadows

- Example's artwork goes along with the title of his album (playing in the shadows) as one half of him is in the light, whilst the other is in a shadowy form. This also connotes he is good, but has a dark side to him.
- Black and white is his general colour theme. But to contrast, he has a yellow box around his name to make it attractive to the audience.

- His CD is mainly yellow with a black outline. The yellow part is the 'e' for Example, which is his logo.
- It has the album name on it in black contrasting against the yellow background.
- His logo is in white, contrasting with the black.
- 'Playing in the shadows' is in yellow to stand out.
- His track list is not in the form they usually are. They are usually a list going down, but his is in a list going left to right.
- Barcode at the bottom.
- The side of the the CD cover is in yellow and black, so from the side it still catches your eye.
